Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about challenges, battles, and the daily workout. More detail lives on the blog.
Is FitClash free?
Yes. Creating challenges, sharing them, submitting scores, and the daily challenge are all free. Battles and the AI assistant only need a free account.
Do participants need an account or an app?
No. Participants open your link in any browser, enter a display name, and submit their score. There is nothing to download and no sign-up.
Do I need an account to create a challenge?
No. You can create and share a challenge without signing up. With a free account, your challenges, scores, and battles are saved to a dashboard you can open on any device.
What scoring types are supported?
Five: For Time (fastest wins), Max Reps (most reps wins), AMRAP (most rounds plus reps wins), Max Weight (heaviest wins), and Max Distance (furthest wins). The leaderboard sorts itself for each one.
What is a battle?
A battle chains several workouts into one competition behind a single link. Each workout keeps its own leaderboard, and the battle page shows the combined standings. You can add divisions and an athlete roster, and give co-organizers a manager link.
How does the daily challenge work?
A new workout is posted every day at fitclash.app/daily with RX and Scaled options and its own leaderboard. It sits inside a full daily session: warmup, strength or skill work, the challenge, accessory work, and cooldown. Past days stay in the daily archive.
Can I use FitClash for my gym or box?
Yes. Post the workout as a challenge and drop the link in your members' group chat so everyone logs their score on the same leaderboard. For in-house competitions, run a battle with divisions and an athlete roster.
